Title: Sales Engineer - EAST
Remote with up to 50% Travel (Michigan, Illinois & Indiana preferred)
Candidates will also be considered if located in: CT, DC, DE, FL, KY, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, WI, WV)
Skills: Must have experience with power system protection sales
Protective relays and digital fault recorder experience strongly preferred.
Salary: $100k-$120k (base - negotiable) + Commission
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power system protection and will be responsible for driving sales efforts related to protective relays and digital fault recorders. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate the value of our products to clients and support their needs in the power industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the power industry.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for protective relays and digital fault recorders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to customers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and product information to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the power systems industry.
- Strong knowledge of protective relays and digital fault recorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and convey them to non-technical clients.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build customer relationships.
