Basic Description:

The Marketing Coordinator will help manage the marketing pipeline through effective use of project management software. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in project coordination, task delegation, and cross-department communication. This role requires confidence in developing and presenting marketing strategies to loan officers and referral partners, as well as managing event logistics and vendor coordination to ensure seamless event planning and execution. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will work closely with creative team members—utilizing basic copywriting and graphic design skills to produce marketing materials within established brand guidelines.


This is a hybrid role, candidates who live within driving distance of the Columbia location will be considered.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project pipeline from creation to completion
  • Support sales teams with print, digital and social marketing strategy
  • Conduct one-on-one marketing meetings with loan officers and referral partners
  • Assist with coordinating corporate, loan officer and regional events
  • Manage and track invoicing in collaboration with other coordinators
  • Update master contact databases in conjunction with other coordinators
  • Contribute to state audits and work with compliance to approve marketing materials
  • Maintain open communication throughout the entire process with Flat Branch Leadership, Area Sales Managers and the marketing team members
  • Create and update contacts, content and deployments in our CRM
  • Interpret client requests and provide clear direction to marketing team members
  • Draft basic copywriting that aligns with marketing strategy and brand voice
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite to edit existing templates and create simple marketing materials within established brand guidelines.
  • Any other tasks and projects that are assigned


Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in Marketing or related field(s), or college degree equivalent preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Independent work style yet comfortable collaborating with others
  • Strong project management skills, time management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoys a diversity of tasks and projects
  • Takes pride and ownership in the work produced
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a broad range of employee segments across the company, including senior leadership
  • Creative problem-solving skills and initiative with attention to detail
  • Handles constructive criticism from clients and team
