Host
We are looking for a welcoming and professional Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression for our guests. As the Host, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a smooth flow of service.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Maintain an organized waiting list and manage wait times effectively
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
Answer phone calls and handle inquiries about the restaurant and reservations
Assist with organizing and setting up the dining area
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station
Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Assist with special requests and accommodations for guests
Always uphold health and safety regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
General Physical Demands for the Position:
- Hosts will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
