Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations at our facility. This is an on-site, full-time, key leadership position responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement and building a strong, positive team culture. The Plant Superintendent will oversee production processes, manage staff, coordinate production schedules, and ensure efficient and safe manufacturing practices. Key responsibilities include leading operations to meet production goals, maintaining compliance with company standards, handling operational planning, and facilitating communication across teams to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This position reports directly to the head of US operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, proven leadership experience, and a deep commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and team development. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality, production, and senior leadership to achieve production goals and support overall business success.

Qualifications

  • A safety minded manager, always looking to raise the safety “bar”.
  • Proven expertise in plant management and plant operations, including directing and optimizing manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in operations management, with the ability to improve operational efficiency and achieve production goals effectively.
  • Must have a strong understanding of lean principles, particularly with 5S methodology.
  • Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor teams and maintain a safe, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in manufacturing settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or extensive plant/ general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to adapt to dynamic production demands.
