Social Services Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Services Director to join our team in Northampton, MA. As a Social Services Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing the social services department and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and management to the social services department, including supervision of social workers, counselors, and other support staff

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans

Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling services to patients and their families

Facilitate referrals to community resources and services to support patient care

Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement

Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management role

Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and best practices

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
