McComb SKin & Aesthetics, LLC is a highly respected family clinic serving the McComb, MS area and offering medical dermatology and cosmetic services. We are seeking an experienced certified medical assistant.

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and document basic medical history
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Scribe medical note for providers
  • Assist during medical examinations and minor medical procedures
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
  • Review and complete incoming refill and PA requests
  • Call and inform patients of pathology, lab and culture results

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant in a medical atmosphere
  • Knowledge of medical office practice management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Certified in medical assistance
  • EMR experience. EMA ModMed experience a plus
