Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Lockport, NY! This is a 7 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist
Location: Lockport, NY 14094
Shift Schedule: Flexible (including weekends/rotational as needed) 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM (varied schedule)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $17-21/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Verify patient demographics and ensure proper specimen labeling at bedside
- Maintain accurate documentation and required records
- Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers and client locations as needed
- Handle high patient volumes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – Required
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
