Job Summary
Provides support to the sales team. Maintains a high-level of customer service with customers and ensures timely responses to issues. Monitors and reviews customer order activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.
Provide high level administrative and technical support by assisting the Sales Manager and Account Managers. Duties may include preparing reports, compiling statistics and other data using spreadsheets and tables, and other general clerical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for communicating with sales team regarding order status, pricing, product availability and lead times.
- Acts as a liaison between internal departments and customer to provide accurate and timely information to ensure customer needs are being met.
- Gather information and trouble shoot any issues that may affect customer orders
- Provide customers with appropriate solutions and alternatives if we're unable to meet customer demand for product or lead times.
- Partners with account manages to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
- Review and track sales staff inquiries, complaints, improvement ideas, etc.
- Interface with sales staff on support needs.
- Compiles statistical data on sales status.
- Ensure computer entries are maintained and up-to-date.
Qualifications Preferred
- High School Diploma or some college preferred
- 3 to 5 years experience
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in sales support, customer service or administrative roles preferred
