In this role, you’ll work hands-on with stamping dies, troubleshoot tooling issues, and ensure every part meets exacting standards. Location: Saint Paul, MN
Pay: $25 – $35/hr, depending on experience
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Friday: 6:00 am – 12:00 pm

Key responsibilities of the experienced toolmaker:
- Maintain and repair all types of stamping dies and production tooling
- Troubleshoot and adjust dies in-press when needed
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints to meet exact tolerances
- Install and align tooling components accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members across shifts about tooling needs
- Complete all required quality documentation
Qualifications of the experienced toolmaker:
- State-indented Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of stamping dies and modern punch press operations
- Skilled in metal stamping/fabrication, die design, and CNC machining
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measurement tools
- Experience with punch press, brake press, and benchwork
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
