Primary Job Functions:
· Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduit, lighting, and alternative electrical parts in accordance with the National Electrical Code
· Read and interpret plan sets, shop drawings and schematics
· Measure, cut, prep, install and repair components utilizing tools such as tape measures, wire strippers, saws, power tools, hand tools, etc.
· Understand terms, language, and skills associated with job tools and duties
· Test electrical equipment and parts for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance
· Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials
· Operate scissor lifts to access elevated work areas
· Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
· Maintain workstations utilizing 5S principles
Requirements:
· Ability and willingness to travel
· Ability and willingness to cross-train with other trades
· Work unscheduled OT as needed
· Valid Texas Driver’s license
· Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds unassisted regularly
· Comfortable working at elevated heights
