Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker for a long-term project in Central Texas, specifically located in Hewitt, TX. The position involves managing a rented warehouse, ensuring the smooth operations of material handling and inventory management. This role is crucial in supporting the daily logistics of trucks delivering and picking up materials for job sites.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks using a dolly and/or pallet jack.
- Stock shelves with materials efficiently.
- Prepare items for pickup to be transported to job sites.
- Manage an inventory system using Excel to track incoming and outgoing items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in packing, inventory, picking, and packaging.
- Experience in material handling, loading, and order picking.
- Ability to use a pallet jack and unload shipments.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience and competence in using dolly and pallet jack.
- Experience in tracking inventory through computer systems.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with RF scanners and shipping and receiving processes.
- Understanding of ERP systems.
- Experience using scan guns.

Work Environment
The position offers a first shift opportunity, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. You will be stationed full-time in a small warehouse, where you will be the sole full-time employee. The environment is dynamic, with people coming and going throughout the day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
