Sales Executive

Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for completing a full cycle sales process. This includes daily sales activities, forecasting sales potential, territory management, preparing reports on sales potential and results, updating Salesforce with customer and potential customer information, and collaborating with Proposal and Operations teams.
Job Duties
- Creates a list of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Finds leads from cold calling and door knocking
- Calls on prospects to explain features of service, cost and advantages, and to establish and maintain relationships
- Collaborates with proposal and operations team on new sales
- Follows up in a timely manner regarding quotes submitted to new customers
- Submits weekly activity and call reports concerning customer contacts
- Maintains accurate records on potential customers in Salesforce
- Meet or exceed sales quota (evaluated quarterly and annually).
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Five years or more of sales experience required, preferably in the janitorial industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have strong negotiation skills, and a hunter mindset, and be deadline and detail oriented. Familiarity with Salesforce.com is beneficial. Experience with Microsoft and Google products required.
