Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Home Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, reliable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. You’ll perform a variety of inspections, document findings, and deliver thorough, easy-to-understand reports to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive residential and commercial property inspections, including: general home inspections, wind mitigations, 4-point inspections, roof certifications, and insurance-related inspections.

• Identify structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety concerns during inspections.

• Accurately document findings with clear notes and photos using inspection software.

• Deliver professional, easy-to-read reports in a timely manner.

• Communicate effectively with clients, realtors, and insurance agents, answering questions and explaining inspection results.

• Stay current with Florida building codes, inspection standards, and continuing education requirements.

• Represent True Home Inspections with professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Home Inspector License (required).

• Mold Assessor License, WDO License, or other certifications a plus (but not required).

• Knowledge of Florida building practices and insurance inspection requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Proficient with inspection software, smartphones, and digital photography.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
