As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling products according to engineering specifications and drawings. You will utilize tools such as soldering irons, solder pots, and hand tools to meticulously construct and assemble parts. Your tasks will include wire stripping, crimping, and both sub and final assembly of electronic assemblies. A neat, safe, and organized work area is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products to engineering specifications and drawings using provided tools.
- Use soldering irons, solder pots, and hand tools for assembly tasks.
- Perform wire stripping, crimping, and electronic assembly tasks.
- Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work area.
- Position and align parts in specified relationships using fixtures or holding devices.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases, housings, and cans.
- Crimp, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts.
- Mix epoxy and other chemicals as required.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or a technical certificate.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Soldering experience.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Eligibility to obtain any required Export Authorization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as an assembler in defense manufacturing or aerospace is preferred.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Basic math skills (e.g., addition and subtraction for dimensions).
- Experience using basic manufacturing equipment and tools like multimeters and torque gauges.
- Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and individual tasks.
- High motivation and drive.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
