Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in Emergency Department setting
\n• PALS certification required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Current valid RN license required
\n• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
\n• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients
\n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
\n• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to policy
\n• Formulate and implement plans of care based on patient-specific needs
\n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
\n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
\n• Provide patient and family education and evaluate response to teaching
\n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
\n• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
\n• Professional certification preferred
\n• Bachelor's degree preferred
