Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Nursing-ORT credentials and/or active Certified Surgical Technologist certification
- Experience assisting surgical teams in a high-volume OR setting
- Proficiency with aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and sterile field preparation
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient intraoperative workflow
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Previous contract or travel experience in surgical services is a plus
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and supplies according to case requirements
- Assist surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia providers throughout surgical procedures
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of sterile and non-sterile equipment
- Maintain safety and infection control standards throughout the perioperative phase
- Monitor patient status and provide support to achieve optimal surgical outcomes
- Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary team members
