Transpo Group USA, Inc. Transportation Analyst (L2) in Kirkland, Washington. Perform transportation engineering activities, including project management, on small to mid-size transportation engineering projects for Transpo’s clients. Develop a client base and contribute to efforts at bringing in new projects. Specific duties include:

· Implement Transpo’s quality control program for transportation engineering projects.

· Create documentation for traffic signal and illumination systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, roadway geometrics and channelization, and roundabouts.

· Utilize AutoCAD and Micro station software and learn further add-ons, as necessary

· Research, analyze and interpret technical data to identify scope of problems and options for potential solutions.

· Determine project budget requirements to complete or carry out work for a proposed project or program.

· Demonstrate the company values in work style and interactions with others.

· Train junior-level staff.

· Engage in organization business activities or initiatives.

· Leverage internal resources to deliver highest value and investment to client.

· Provide quality control on own work.

· Communicate and interact with teaming partners and sub-consultants.

· Begin to develop a client base.

· Prepare proposals including scope, schedule and fees.

· Engaging in Business Development conversations.

The position is based at Transpo’s headquarters in Kirkland, Washington, but provides the option of telecommuting 60-80% of the time at Transpo’s discretion. The position also requires travel (approximately 10 days per year) to project sites, meetings at client offices, and professional conferences.
