Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-Language Pathologists are sought for contract opportunities supporting schools throughout Volusia County, Florida, beginning in August 2026. These positions offer the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive educational environment, serving diverse student populations at several school sites. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time schedules across elementary, middle, and high schools. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcomed and provided with supervision. Please note that SLPAs and virtual/remote applicants are not being considered at this time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech-language therapy services to students with a wide range of needs, including those with severe to profound disabilities
  • Utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as appropriate
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assessing, documenting, and monitoring progress toward student goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, special educators, and families to support student communication needs
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to IEP team discussions

Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida SLP license (CCC-SLP required)
  • Experience supporting students with severe to profound disabilities and AAC devices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort working flexibly across school sites and adapting to varied caseloads
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • New graduates/CFs are encouraged to apply; supervision is provided
