Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for a manufacturing organization in Mars, Pennsylvania. This position combines day-to-day financial activities with administrative, payroll, and human resources support to help keep business functions running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and coordinate timely payments to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on collections to support healthy cash flow and accounts receivable performance.
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger with a high degree of accuracy and attention to deadlines.
• Assist with account reconciliations and help ensure monthly financial records are complete, organized, and ready for review.
• Provide payroll support by gathering pay-related data, reviewing records for accuracy, and helping administer payroll activities.
• Support human resources administration through employee record maintenance, onboarding paperwork, and coordination of routine HR documentation.
• Handle a range of office and administrative tasks that contribute to efficient daily operations across accounting and business support functions.
• Collaborate with internal team members to resolve accounting discrepancies, improve reporting accuracy, and maintain reliable financial information.• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a closely related finance role.
• Practical experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Ability to prepare journal entries and work confidently with general ledger transactions.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and administrative support related to employee records or HR coordination.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet recurring deadlines.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
