POSITION OVERVIEW


The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, strengthening existing customer relationships and driving sales growth through proactive prospecting and face-to-face engagement. This role requires a strong focus on relationship building, customer consultations, and presenting tailored solutions that meet client needs. The Sales Representative partners with Project Managers and the leadership team to ensure a seamless customer experience and achievement of sales goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and follow up on leads consistently
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conduct onsite consultations, surveys, and discovery meetings to understand project requirements
  • Educate customers on FASTSIGNS in-house manufacturing capabilities and full range of solutions
  • Set clear project expectations regarding timelines, deliverables, and costs

Sales Process & Project Collaboration

  • Prepare and present accurate quotes, estimates, and proofs to customers
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to design solutions that meet customer budgets, needs, and timelines
  • Develop and execute proactive sales plans to increase order volume and revenue from key accounts
  • Ensure thorough customer/project follow-up to drive satisfaction and repeat business
  • Partner with Inside Sales, Project Managers, and the leadership team to ensure a seamless customer experience


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Strong communicator with excellent phone and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn CRM/order management software


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in signage, graphics, or related industry
  • Proven experience in outside sales or business development, required
  • Experience working with CRM software, preferred
  • Must have valid drivers license
