Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Temporary position for a leave of absence, can turn into a long term position.
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in our aerospace and defense manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for production performance, employee supervision, quality, safety, and schedule attainment while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead daily production activities to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals
Supervise, coach, and develop production employees and team leads
Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and training activities
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and company procedures
Promote workplace safety and Cal/OSHA compliance
Monitor production schedules and resolve workflow bottlenecks
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams
Track operational metrics including quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
Qualifications
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
Experience supervising production teams
Knowledge of production scheduling and manufacturing operations
Experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environments
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace, defense, electronics, ceramics, or related manufacturing experience
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
Bilingual English/Spanish
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods
Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and using required PPE
