Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is open for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in multiple imaging modalities, positioned in Stuart, FL. This contract role requires a skilled candidate familiar with cardiac catheterization and at least two other modalities among Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures. Your expertise will support critical diagnostic and interventional procedures in a short-term acute care environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 months experience in Cath Lab specialty; 2 years preferred
- Experience in at least two of the four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
- Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) preferred; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) also preferred
- AHA ACLS & BLS certifications required upon hire
- Ability and willingness to float within scope to sister facilities within a 20-mile radius
- Nicotine-free, as per facility policy, with negative drug screening
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scrub technologist duties specializing in the Cath Lab
- Support interventional procedures utilizing multimodality imaging techniques
- Participate in call rotation on an as-needed basis, adjusted to patient care demands
- Prioritize timely completion of orientation and time-sensitive modules
Schedule:
- Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
- Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week, depending on shift length
