Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role is ideal for an experienced counselor who is enthusiastic about serving a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students—approximately 30 students across five schools. Key Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Texas
- Previous counseling experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, student-centered approach
- Able to manage a flexible caseload and travel between campuses as needed
- Effective at building rapport and fostering trust among students, families, and faculty
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop holistic strategies for student well-being
- Maintain current documentation and records, adhering to confidentiality and legal requirements
- Participate in campus meetings, providing expertise on behavioral and emotional health
- Offer crisis intervention support and help connect students to additional community resources
Working Schedule & Details:
- Contract position beginning August 12, 2025, concluding May 21, 2027
- 16 hours per week, scheduled to maximize availability across campuses
