Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to provide telemedicine coverage (flexible schedule). The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of urgent care, primary care and peptides/weight loss cases remotely. Most patient encounters involve non-emergent, outpatient-level issues such as:
- Musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, strains, minor trauma)
- Upper and lower respiratory infections (URI, sinusitis, bronchitis)
- Urinary tract infections (UTI)
- Medication refills and management
- Lifestyle and wellness consultations (e.g., erectile dysfunction, sleep health)
- GLP-1s and other peptides modalities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate virtual medical consultations for patients across multiple states.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of telemedicine.
- Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the EMR system.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostics when appropriate.
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations and telemedicine best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active medical licenses in 20+ states (20+ licensure highly preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post- certification (telemedicine experience strongly preferred).
- Obesity medicine or peptide knowledge highly preferred.
Benefits
Compensation: $20 per completed consult.
