Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer specializing in Heavy Civil projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of various large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of heavy civil construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the management of project resources, including materials and labor.
- Participate in problem-solving and conflict resolution on project sites.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
