Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
\n• Every other weekend coverage required
\n• Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8
\n• 25-bed unit with daily census of 15 patients
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
\n• Must live more than 50 miles from facility
\n• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement
\n• NY license required in hand to submit
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Float to other units as needed
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Common patient diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule out
\n• Required skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
\n• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours, total may reach 10 hours)
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
