Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for night shifts with a MI RN license and at least two years of ICU experience required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in one of three critical care units: Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, or Cardiac ICU
- May be floated to ICU stepdown as needed based on census
- Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Required to work every other weekend
- On-call responsibilities are required
- Floating to other units as needed is expected
- Holiday coverage is required every other holiday
- Uses Cerner Powerchart for charting
- Care for critically ill patients in surgical, neuro, or cardiac ICU settings
- May be assigned or floated to ICU stepdown depending on unit needs
- Scrub color is Caribbean Blue
- Team structure and support provided within critical care environment

- Active MI RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, CRRT
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted
- First-time travelers are accepted
