Senior Kitchen & Bath Designer (1099 Contractor – Commission Based)
Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI | Company: Pointe Cabinets & Design
Pointe Cabinets & Design is seeking an experienced Senior Designer & Sales Associate with a proven track record in luxury kitchen and bath design. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with high-end clients, architects, and builders in a creative, fast-paced, and supportive environment.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who combines strong design expertise with exceptional sales ability. The ideal candidate thrives on client interaction, attention to detail, and creating functional, stunning spaces that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and sell custom kitchens, baths, and interiors using 2020 Design and other design platforms
- Meet with clients, builders, and designers to develop concepts, space plans, and material selections
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and detailed cabinetry specifications
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on product selections and order details
- Present design solutions confidently to clients and guide them through the design/build process
- Maintain accurate project files and follow through from concept to completion
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-end kitchen and bath design
- Proficiency in 2020 Design and/or Chief Architect and Microsoft Office Suite
- Deep understanding of custom cabinetry, millwork, and installation details
- Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and products in the kitchen & bath industry
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and construction documents
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Proven history of sales performance and client satisfaction
- Reliable transportation
