Machine Operator Tasks & Duties
-
Operate more than one machine with a basic understanding of the injection molding process.
-
Trim excess material from parts using a knife, rout-a-burr, gate clipper, or other hand tools required for the job.
-
Ability to follow detailed job instructions to complete customer orders while ensuring quality and accuracy of production, including routine quality checks.

Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages efficiently and accurately.
-
Perform basic secondary operations on products where applicable.
-
Pack produced goods into appropriate packaging (such as plastic wrap, boxes, or containers) for shipping or bulk storage.

Monitor operations of injection molding machine(s) to detect any mechanical or material issues and notify appropriate personnel.
-
Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Adhere to all and be capable of executing all molding standard operating procedures of the plant while adhering to, and maintaining safety and efficiency.

Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required based on the needs of the position.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

A Shift: Weds- Saturday
Wednesday- 12:35 pm- 7 pm (6 Hrs.)
Thursday- Saturday 6:35 am 7 pm (12 hrs.)
B Shift: Thru- Sat
Thursday- 12:35 am- 7 am (6 hrs.)
Friday & Sat- 6:35 pm- 7 am (12hr)
C Shift: Sun- Weds
Sunday- Tues- 6:35 am- 7 pm (12hr)
Weds: 6:35 am -1 pm (6hrs)
D Shift: Sunday- Weds
Sun- Tues- 6:35pm- 7am (12hrs)
Weds 6:35pm- 1am (6hrs)
Machine Operator Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)
-
Machine Operator experience preferred
-
Able to work in the US
-
Able to pass a background check
-
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
-
Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
-
Training, certification, or degree from a technical college or vocational school preferred
-
Knowledge using Microsoft Suite
-
Experience using CAD (computer-aided design) and CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) software programs
-
High mathematical and mechanical acuity with experience reading blueprints and schematics
-
Ability to accurately read blueprints, sketches and/or computer-aided designs
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
-
Able to pass a backgroundcheck
-
Able to work in the US
