Position: Therapist-COTA-Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced Therapist-COTA-Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract in Salinas, California — earn up to ($1756 - $1848 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

  • Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals and techniques.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance treatment effectiveness.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

  • Engage in self-reflection to identify areas for personal growth.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

  • Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid COTA certification and state licensure.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

  • Experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

  • Ability to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

  • Strong communication skills to educate patients and families effectively.

  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.

  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.

  • Willingness to engage in self-reflection for personal growth.
