The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) is responsible for profitably growing Atlantic Plywood’s sales through disciplined territory management, strategic selling, and strong relationship building. This field-based role focuses on expanding market share, defending existing business, and driving demand for both core and new products. OSRs act as trusted business consultants, delivering customer value while consistently meeting or exceeding sales and profit goals.

Professional Development

What You’ll Do
- Meet or exceed annual sales and profit plans while driving consistent territory growth.
- Create, develop, and closenew salesopportunities within existing and new customer accounts.
- Build demand for new and focus products through education, presentations, and pipeline development.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of active customers while onboarding new accounts aligned with territory goals.
- Conduct strategic, pre-planned sales calls with clearobjectivestied toaccountand territory growth.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers across customer organizations.
- Accurately record all sales activities, calls, opportunities, and follow-ups in Salesforce daily.
- Utilize Salesforce dashboards and reports to forecast sales, manage pipeline health, and prioritize customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Vendor Representatives, and internal teams to support customer success and cross-selling initiatives.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GEDrequired,bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
- Proven ability to manage a sales territory and consistently achieve performance goals.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Effective time management and self-discipline in a field-based sales role.
- Ability to analyze opportunities, manage a pipeline, and execute a structured sales process.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel extensively withinan assignedterritory, with occasional travel outside the territory.
- Ability to drive for extended periods and conduct in-person customer meetings.
- Ability to carry presentation materials and use mobile technology for sales activity tracking.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, ora relatedfield.
- Experience selling building products, millwork, or related materials.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and pipeline managementbestpractices.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel preferred).
Work Environment
- Field-based, customer-facing sales role with extensive travel within the assigned territory.
