Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in high school math, located in Ranchos De Taos, NM. The position offers a 37.5-hour workweek within a supportive school environment focused on delivering exceptional education to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to high school students with special education needs.
Deliver specialized instruction in mathematics, accommodating diverse learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student progress and engagement.
Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Assess and monitor student academic performance, providing feedback and adjustments to interventions as necessary.
