Job Description💧 Customer Service Representative – Water Utilities
📍 Lenexa, KS | 💵 $21+/hour | 🕗 Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
Hybrid after 90 days (Work from home 3–4 days/week)

As a CSR II, you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex customer issues, mentoring peers, and leading process enhancements that make a real impact.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Be the first line of escalation for customer complaints and complex inquiries via phone, email, and case management.
- Process payments, reconcile cash drawers, and resolve third-party payment issues.
- Schedule and dispatch field crews for inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the CSR Knowledge Base.
- Train new team members and provide support during challenging customer interactions.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement improvements across tools, processes, and team performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across billing, dispatch, account administration, and more.
🧠 What You Bring
- 3+ years of customer service and/or dispatch experience.
- Strong written communication skills—daily email and web case correspondence required.
- CRM experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and business writing skills.
- Ability to work on-site full-time for the first 90 days, then transition to hybrid.
- Availability for occasional overtime during emergencies.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
