Job Description:
This position requires an experienced ICU Float RN to work across multiple hospitals within Zone 3 based around Denver City Center. The RN will need to float to different facilities as needed and manage a range of critical care patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in varied ICU settings, including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU.
- Titrate and administer various critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
- Participate in floating assignments across ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units as required.
- Assist in managing respiratory needs alongside designated Respiratory Therapists.
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; 3+ years required for first-time travelers with Epic experience.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting telemetry strips without a monitor tech.
- Flexibility in scheduling and ability to float within the 60-mile zone.
