What You’ll Do
As a GMC Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for generating sales of new and pre-owned vehicles through multiple channels, including online inquiries, phone calls, walk-in traffic, trade shows, and your professional network. You’ll guide customers through the entire buying journey—from first contact to post-sale follow-up—while delivering a top-tier experience every step of the way.
- Deliver engaging, hands-on vehicle demonstrations that showcase the latest technology and features
- Build and continuously grow your product knowledge to confidently present benefits and solutions
- Guide customers through financing options, warranties, and service plans
- Manage and grow your pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely customer data
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Stay up to date on inventory, promotions, and industry trends
- Represent the dealership at trade shows and community events to generate leads
- Follow up after the sale to ensure satisfaction and build long-term loyalty
- Collaborate with your team and leadership to achieve individual and dealership goals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Work closely with your team to hit goals and celebrate wins together
- Continuously grow through training, coaching, and development opportunities

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (automotive experience is a plus, but not required)
