The Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control operations. This role ensures the accurate flow of materials throughout the facility by receiving and inspecting shipments, managing inventory transactions, fulfilling job pick lists, and coordinating outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documentation; report and escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Store and route materials to appropriate departments using established inventory and organization systems.
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials for job orders and sales orders, including inbound quality checks.
- Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate truck pickups and communicate with carriers; process shipping portals as required.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records using Oracle Fusion and other internal systems.
- Perform inventory control tasks such as cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and transaction management.
- Generate serial numbers as required for inventory tracking.
- Safely operate PIT equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and WAV equipment.
- Travel between the warehouse and main production facility (approximately 1 mile) using a company vehicle as needed.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with training coworkers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while following all safety protocols.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support operations.
Essential Skills
- At least 3 months of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment.
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tracking systems.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Forklift and warehouse equipment operation experience.
- Box truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment
Work in a warehouse and production support environment with regular exposure to material handling activities. The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift, with the use of PIT equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and WAV equipment. Interaction with shipping docks, carriers, and internal production areas is common. The indoor environment has varying temperatures depending on season and activity, with a fast-paced setting that requires attention to accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Occasional driving of a company vehicle between nearby facilities is required, along with the use of computers, scanners, and inventory systems for daily tasks. Adherence to established safety protocols and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niagara Falls, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
