Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, twist
- Material Handling experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Moderately proficient computer skills (Excel knowledge, handle common software, etc.)
- Must be able to pass DOT Physical and operate box truck
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Logistics experience is preferred
- Knowledge of packaging concepts is preferred
- No more than six points under Company’s Attendance Control System
- No written corrective action in last six months
Responsibilities:

Description
1.
Monitor overall packaging needs / inventory & tracking information for shortages
2.
Ensure production packaging needs are covered by mass pro fleet returns and/or expendable back up availability.
3.
Investigate shortages & submit shortage forms / reports to the customer for resolution
4.
Submit claims in customer portals / websites for expendable use reimbursement
5.
Submit claims (expendable and returnable) into TGNA packaging system, track payment, and update reports
6.
Monitor / Send packaging discrepancies and / or information to customers
Develop back up (expendable) packaging and sourcing
7.
Maintain back up / expendable packaging inventory
8.
Cost negotiations with packaging suppliers
9.
Maintain test certifications on class 9 packaging
10.
Develop mass production packaging design and calculate fleets for new programs / current programs, submit documents into customer websites / portals
11.
Champion packaging trials
12.
Obtain quotes and issue Purchase Orders for packaging
13.
Submit loss / damage forms to customers and disposal / repair packaging
14.
Maintain Packaging Instructions / File Hold Approvals
15.
Monitors daily used supplies (Shrink wrap, Banding, Tape, Kanban labels, etc.)
16.
Driving box truck – Help manage offsite warehouse (expendable and returnable packaging)
17.
Assist other PC members as needed / PC Support
18.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision
