Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in York, NE is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year. This role involves providing speech and language support to students across grades K-12, with a caseload tailored to meet diverse communication needs.
Location: York, Nebraska
Schedule: Approximately 2 1/2 days per week
Duration: Contract for the current school year (25/26 school days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans in alignment with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience or training with K-12 school-aged populations
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Eligibility to hold or possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
