Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Burlingame, CA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $2667.60/week
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. The PT is responsible for the comprehensive evaluation, planning, and implementation of individualized physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical function and alleviate pain in adult and geriatric patients. This role requires clinical expertise, detailed documentation, and effective collaboration within the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Based on exam data, identifies problems, and develops and updates the patient's Plan of Care (POC).
- Assesses and provides/progresses treatment for patients per the plan of care, focusing on improving physical functioning and preventing dysfunction.
- Completes all documentation related to treatment and accurate charge capture.
- Coordinates patient care effectively and efficiently with other care providers and support team members.
- Provides clinical supervision to assistants and/or aides and serves as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
- Participates in quality improvement processes and ensures safe use and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications:
- Active license in California or Compact license.
- Graduate of an accredited PT Program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience is required for submission.
- EPIC experience is preferred (Charting System Experience is Required).
- COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
