- $50,000-$75,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth

THE ROLE
In this role, the Representative provides on-site construction observation on heavy civil projects and acts as a liaison between the construction site and the engineering team. These responsibilities include:
- Review construction plans and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Conduct on-site, documented observation to monitor construction progress, quality, and general compliance with design plans and specifications.
- Document and report any deviations from project requirements
- Performs basic surveying, testing and quantity measurements
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during construction.
- Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders.
- Keep detailed records of daily activities and produce regular progress reports for project management.

YOUR STRENGTHS
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering inspection or heavy construction-related work
- Strong technical knowledge of construction site practices and safety protocols
- Formal education in civil engineering, construction technology or civil engineering technology preferred
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
- Must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Capable of working outside in the field and, at times, in remote locations at the project site for the duration of the project
- Travel to and from the project site for extended periods of time. Possibly longer assignments may be required up to months at a time.
