PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Centennial CO 80112 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $24.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM | Possible Saturday rotation
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to ensure accurate, timely, and safe medication preparation and delivery. This position offers full-time hours, steady pay, and the chance to grow your career in pharmacy operations.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IVs
- Enter prescription data for dispensing and reimbursement processing
- Prepackage medications for dispensing according to standards and regulations
- Assist in final prescription verification, including staging and packaging
- Support accurate and timely medication delivery to patients
- Maintain inventory: receive and rotate medications, track lot numbers and expiration dates, assist with audits
- Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, including equipment checks and calibration
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Pharmacy Technician Certification or willingness to train under a DORA Provisional License
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow pharmacy procedures and regulatory requirements
- Team player with good communication skills
