Job DescriptionIndustrial Warehouse Cycle Counter - $16 to $18 Per Hour
This is a contact position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Location: Houston, Tx 77051
Pay Rate: $16-$18 DOE
Shift: 7am to 5pm
Job Summary
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Industrial Warehouse Cycle Counter for a distributor of carbon and stainless pipe, fittings, and flanges. This is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Industrial Warehouse Cycle Counter Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily or scheduled cycle counts of materials.
- Review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity to ensure accuracy.
- Verify that materials are stored in the correct locations.
- Break down boxes and pallets as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety rules and regulations.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment.
- Operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Assist with all logistic related order issues
- Able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends if needed
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Industrial Warehouse Cycle Counter Qualifications
- Experience in industrial inventory management and shortage investigations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of flanges, fittings, and pipes.
- Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move around the facility.
- Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, or pickers is preferred.
1st Shift Receiving Clerk Requirements
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to strictly observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
