Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year contract, from late August through mid-December. This position is based in a supportive elementary school environment serving Kindergarten through 5th grade students in Burnsville, MN.

The role involves managing an approximate caseload of 50 students, with the benefit of collaborating alongside another full-time SLP. The school offers specialized programming, including autism services and Spanish immersion, providing a dynamic and diverse setting. Therapy sessions take place mainly in federally funded settings (Fed settings 1-3).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to elementary students, addressing a range of communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary programming.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or appropriate credential for SLPA.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with autism programming and bilingual education an asset.
  • Licensure and certification must comply with state requirements.
