Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized speech pathology services within an educational setting. This role is designed for individuals who are dedicated to supporting students from Pre-K through 22 years of age, focusing on a diverse range of communication needs within a severe population. This contract is set to begin 8/11/25 and conclude 7/31/26.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents
  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate student success
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
