This contract role requires dedicated professionals to deliver specially-designed instruction and related OT services for students with IEPs, offering the consideration of both in-person and virtual arrangements. Flexible scheduling is available—including afternoons, evenings, and weekends—to best accommodate both provider and family needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire OPLC Occupational Therapist License required
- Current NBCOT certification mandatory
- Minimum of one year’s experience serving school-aged children in New Hampshire
- Prior work with IEP-driven therapy and documentation strongly preferred
- Flexibility to provide services in-person (strongly preferred) or remotely as needed
- Clear communication skills to collaborate with families, educators, and administrators
- Adaptability regarding scheduling, with actual hours based on parent and guardian agreements
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions and specially-designed instruction, as outlined in students’ IEPs, outside regular classroom hours
- Consult with families to arrange and confirm session times, adjusting as necessary
- Accurately document student progress and provide detailed reports to IEP teams
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other therapy providers
- Maintain compliance with district and state documentation standards
- Support student access and participation through customized interventions
