Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• 3x12 shift schedule with every other weekend required
\n• Float required throughout the facility
\n• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients during all shifts
\n• 36 hours of orientation provided
\n• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
\n• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Experience with Cerner charting system required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Must be proficient in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, IV insulin protocols, and telemetry monitoring
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 30-bed unit with daily census of 28
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
\n• Open to 8-week contracts
\n• Two supervisor references required

The facility utilizes Cerner charting systems and maintains full interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
