Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based speech therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located near Princeton, NJ. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to young students in an engaging educational setting.
Qualified candidates will hold one of the following credentials:
- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Speech-Language Pathologist completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Certified School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - School)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on improving communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required
Desired Experience:
- Experience working with elementary school children in a school or clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Willingness to engage in ongoing learning to stay current on best practices
