Job DescriptionStaff Accountant
We are a boutique CPA firm located in the heart of Denver. We focus on complex HNWIs and private businesses around the country. We have a wide range of industries that we work in, and we are one of the fastest growing privately owned CPA firms in the state of Colorado. We work primarily with private businesses, and see a lot of clients in the real estate space. We also have manufacturers, retail, service based clients, and more.
Right now we are looking for a staff accountant who work on a wide range of real estate projects. Ideally this is someone who has a public accounting background and is used to working on a large volume of clients. This persons will be handling general accounting, payroll, A/P, A/R, and general ledger work.
What you need
- 2+ Years of Public Accounting Exp.
- CAS - General Accounting Preferred
- Experience working with small businesses
- Major plus for strong real estate experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects throughout the year
- Extensive GAAP knowledge
- Strong communication skills & comfort in consulting directly with clients
- Strong Time Management Skills
What you will be doing
- General Bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Retrieving/Uploading Bank Statements
- Book Reconciliations
- Journal Entries
- Payroll
- Balance Sheets
- Communicating Directly with clients
- Overseeing a high volume of projects (up to 30 companies at a time)
Benefits
Base Salary: $60,000-$80,000
