Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students in the Baltimore area as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in educational settings while working on-site alongside dedicated professionals. The contract runs from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and assignments across one or more school campuses.

Ideal candidates bring both passion and expertise to school-based speech and language therapy. You'll assess student needs, create tailored intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families to foster student progress and positive outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Maryland Professional Licensure (upload clear images of licensure when applying)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in or a strong desire to work in K-12 educational environments
  • Readiness to complete all credentialing, including district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review per state regulations (House Bill 486)
  • Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work on-site throughout the assignment

Your responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating students’ communication needs using specialized assessments
  • Providing direct speech-language therapy—individually and in groups
  • Maintaining IEP documentation and progress notes
  • Consulting with teachers and parents to support student learning
  • Attending school meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
