  • Maintain detailed equipment history, including parts usage and maintenance records, to support data-driven maintenance and reliability decisions.
  • Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures and job plans for complex equipment to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and reliability principles to identify root causes of failures and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing ideas, documenting findings, and collaborating with others to enhance equipment performance and safety.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems up to and including 480 VAC, including motors, VFDs, motor starters, relays, sensors, and control panels.
  • Strong skill in diagnosing control circuit failures using electrical schematics, prints, and technical documentation.
  • Experience performing advanced troubleshooting on PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O diagnostics and basic logic review.
  • Demonstrated ability to verify and maintain proper operation of safety circuits, interlocks, emergency stops, and guarding systems in line with OSHA and NFPA standards.
  • Advanced mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills for conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, dryers, presses, and similar industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in precision alignment, belt and chain tensioning, and mechanical adjustments to manufacturer specifications.
  • Ability to fabricate or modify mechanical components to support repairs and equipment upgrades.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining steam distribution systems, including steam traps, valves, condensate return systems, heat exchangers, and piping.
